The recipient will receive a Woolies virtual gift card that can be used both online (website or app) and in-store once loaded onto a physical gift card (see in-store redemption instructions).

Valid for use in South Africa only. Product is non-returnable. See Refund Policy.

Redeem In-Store:

Important: Please use the Send In-Store Redemption SMS option when viewing the voucher code to receive an SMS in the format the Woolworths store will accept. Woolworths staff will not accept the voucher code presented in any other way.

  1. Once you've received the SMS, go in store to customer service and present your SMS and ID (food stores you will go to the till point).
  2. Woolworths will confirm that the name in the SMS matches your ID and then load your voucher onto a physical gift card

Redeem Online:

  1. Shop online at www.woolworths.co.za or via the app
  2. After adding items into your cart and checking out, enter the voucher code details where it asks "Pay with a Gift Card" or "do you have a promo code"
  3. Use the full voucher code with the 3-digit CVV number

The use of this Gift card constitutes acceptance of the following terms and conditions. - This card is only exchangeable for merchandise and may not be refunded or redeemed for cash. - No cash change will be given. - This card may not be redeemed against purchases made at Engen or Woolworths stores outside of the Republic of South Africa. - This card is valid for 36 months from the date of purchase. - This card may not be used to make payments into any Woolworths account or Woolworths Loan or Visa account or utilities account.
